Nahum 3:9-11

New International Version

⁹ Cush^[a](A) and Egypt were her boundless strength;
    Put^(B) and Libya^(C) were among her allies.
¹⁰ Yet she was taken captive^(D)
    and went into exile.
Her infants were dashed^(E) to pieces
    at every street corner.
Lots^(F) were cast for her nobles,
    and all her great men were put in chains.^(G)
11 You too will become drunk;^(H)
    you will go into hiding^(I)
    and seek refuge from the enemy.
